 September 1 Deadline for Nominations

PMI-ISSIG will be holding elections this fall for three directors-at-large and one vice-chair.  The positions are two years in duration, running from January 1, 2002 - December 31, 2003.  The duties of the directors and the vice-chair are defined in the Bylaws and are available at www.pmi-issig.org.

 Recommendations for nominees, including a biographical statement, must be received in writing no later than September 1, 2001.

 Wanted: Research Project Volunteers

PMP seeks volunteers who would be willing to complete a survey of their IT culture relative to the success of adopting project management practices. The survey will be used to research the affects of organizational cultures on the success of project management as part of a Ph.D. dissertation in Organization Development. Research results will be shared with individuals who volunteer to share with their organizations.
